Oogieloves Discussion & Giveaway!

Kelsey LOVES The Oogieloves!
Kelsey had a blast attending camp, and even received a few goodies after including this Oogieball!

Have any of you seen the commercials for  The Oogieloves Big Balloon Adventure? Did you know it is a G rated movie, which is interactive for viewers? It is the first of its kind! Visual & auditory clues are used during the movie to allow the audience to sing and dance. Furthermore, it was filmed right here in Michigan! If not, or you have heard, or you just want to see more information please head to their website https://www.oogieloves.com/

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to an exciting two-day event celebrating the movie premiere of The Ooglieloves.  The story follows the Oogieloves – Goobie, Zoozie and Toofie – as they prepare for a surprise birthday party for their friend, Schluufy. When their guardian, J. Edgar, loses the last five magical balloons in all of Lovelyloveville, the Oogieloves take action. Along the way, they meet Rosalie Rosebud (Toni Braxton), Dottie Rounder (Cloris Leachman), Lola and Lero Sombrero (Jaime Pressly and Christopher Lloyd), Milky Marvin (Chazz Palminteri), and Bobby Wobbly (Cary Elwes).

Kelsey created her own Oogielove Bag and still puts things inside it weeks later!

The film’s creator, Kenn Viselman (whose past experience includes Teletubbies and Thomas the Tank Engine, & Noddy) created this movie with parents/caregivers in mind, and specifically wanted engage them in a round table discussion. He believes in The Power of Mom, so we were lucky enough to be invited to participate in this event! During CAMP OOGIE, my daughter completed activities pertaining to the movie, with my husband as we discussed the movie. The movie itself is a learning experience for children implementing ideas like teamwork, creative thinking and physical exercise. DAY 1 for my 5 yr old and myself was a hit! Walking around the camp, I noticed the children, all ages, were have an amazing time. I was a bit skeptical thinking my 5 year old wouldn’t be as involved, but I was COMPLETELY WRONG! She loved it! The volunteers who helped made certain all kids were engaged.  Camp attendees created a bag,  danced/sang the songs, or colored pictures from the movie. After attending the Camp and discussion, we all anticipated the movie the next day!

Kelsey was able to walk and pose on the red carpet for the first time!

DAY 2 was the big movie premiere of The Oogieloves Big Balloon Adventure!  When we arrived my daughter immediately wanted a tattoo. Then, she crawled through the adorable Oogie tents displayed and walked the red carpet! The producers created a circus-like party that was created for the children. Clowns walked around with balloons, the movie creators were mingling with crowd, and everyone was enjoying the celebration no matter what age! It was fabulous! We ate pizza, snacks, cotton candy, ice cream floats, and more!

Kelsey was excited to receive a balloon from this friendly Oogie-Clown!

The movie played in 3 theaters. During the movie, kids, parents, caregivers, EVERYONE was singing, dancing, smiling, and enjoying themselves. Honestly, the environment created was enjoyable for everyone all ages, and the interactive movie was great!   My daughter has informed me she wants to see the movie AGAIN and purchase it as soon as it comes out! Which I believe, speaks for itself!
