Do you have an independent, yet reluctant, reader?  You may be able to help motivate them with this fun program, offered through the Royal Oak Public Library.

On Saturday, June 16th, kids can snuggle up with a therapy dog while will be their captive audience while your child reads his or her favorite book aloud.

You must pre-register for your child’s 20-minute time slot between 10:30 AM & 12:15 PM to ensure that your child will get one-on-one time with a patient K-9.  If you happen to be on vacation during that time, you can sign up for an encore on July 21st.
