From 11 a.m. to noon, visitors can watch puppet performances of “Little Red Riding Hood.” For those interested in making their own art, there will be an opportunity to create a folk art toy at a drop-in workshop. Remember the day by taking a complimentary photo at the picture station.

Grandchildren are admitted free to the museum with an adult general admission or DIA membership. Admission and registration will take place in the Detroit Film Theatre Lobby. Free valet parking is available in the Loggia Circle off John R Street.
For more information on the Grandparents Day event or any other special events held by the DIA, call the Membership HelpLine at 313-833-7971 or visit the Detroit Institute of Arts website.
