Did you know that Leukemia is the most common form of childhood cancer?  It affects 3,000 children in the United States each year. While the vast majority of children diagnosed with leukemia will beat the cancer, outcomes for children who relapse or experience other complications are significantly more severe.  Our children need your help!

Gracie Irish is a 4th grader at North Hill Elementary School in Rochester, Michigan.  When she was four years old she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  She went to the University of Michigan Children’s Cancer Center for 26 months of chemotherapy treatment.  The Irish family is very thankful for the care and support they received at Mott Children’s Hospital.

A fund called Gracie’s Fund for Leukemia Research has been set up to provide support for the experts at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital who are working to expand their current understanding of relapse and complicated leukemias.

Sweet Helpings is selling Mackinaw Island Fudge to raise money for Gracie’s Fund at the University of Michigan.  All fudge is being donated by Murdick’s Fudge of Mackinaw Island. How cool is that!  If you have ever had their fudge you know what a sweet deal this is.

100% of the money raised will go to Gracie’s Fund for Leukemia Research.

The cost of the fudge is $5 per ½ lb box of fudge.  There are three flavors to choose from:  Double Chocolate Fudge, Butter Pecan Fudge or Peanut Butter Fudge.  Orders must be placed by May 20th.
