The Future Depends on the Changes We Make NOW

I listen to my grandmother talk about when she was a little girl, movies were 5 cents.  I go back to my home town in Dublin, OH and see the transformation that has taken place since I last visited 14 years ago.

Those memories are things that happened in the past that have paved the path of today.  No longer are movies 5 cents and changes and growth in cities like Dublin, OH are going to continue to happen as time goes on.

One thing that is consistent through time is change.  It’s something that will continue to happen and should happen, but we can control most of the changes that happen in our lives and the lives of others through knowledge, power and awareness.

I have made it my mission to be as earth friendly as I can in order to do my part in making sure that the planets resources have not been depleted when my children and their children are here on the planet.  I know there is no way that I can do this alone, but I won’t change the habits I have adopted out of discouragement that my part in helping to reduce, reuse and recycle will be un-noticed.

I will however, teach my children, share with my readers and continue to have hope that the changes we make in our everyday lives will in fact do good and touch someone’s life.

Join me in taking  the Future Friendly Challenge on Facebook For every challenge taken, P&G will be donating one day of drinking water.

By blogging about this, P&G will be donating ONE WEEK of drinking water to an area in need through their Children’s Safe Drinking Water Initiative.
