Easy Playdough Recipe!

This is the easiest play-dough recipe I have found!  I posted it back in 2009 and thought since the kids are out on winter break that it would be a great post to revisit!

Here you go:

1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 Tbs cream of tarter
1 Tbs oil
food coloring

Heat all of the ingredients in a saucepan over low to medium heat.  Don’t add more of anything if it looks like this:

Stir continuously and the mixture will get thicker and thicker.  Once the dough is at the consistency you want, remove from heat.  Cool before using.  Enjoy!

You can also add glitter to the dough to give it a little sparkle for the holidays!
