Movie Review: Life as We Know It

Life as We Know It, a Warner Bros. movie, was seriously one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time, but you may want to have a tissue nearby because there will be tears both from crying and from laughing!

Katherine Heigl is stunning in the film.  We are sure to see Heigl inspired  fashions popping up because they are so easy, stylish and fresh.  She wore blanket sweaters, blazers, belted tops with jeans and boots and a pair of red heels to die for.  The fashion really caught my eye and made me wish the mall was open when the movie was over so I could pick up some new fall pieces.

Katherine’s (Holly in the movie) ability to make you laugh and cry in one scene seemed effortless.  She was mindlessly appealing and believable. If this movie is a blockbuster, which I think it will be, Katherine is why.

Josh Duhamel (Eric in the movie) was like that guy in high school who is effortlessly hot.  They don’t shower, let their facial hair grow out a bit and wear the same baseball hat every time you see them…and none of that matters because you just can’t stop thinking how totally hot they are.  Josh played his part like a ripe banana…saweet!

About “Life as We Know It”:
After a disastrous first date, the only thing Holly, an up and coming caterer, and Eric, a network sports director, have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside and juggle career ambitions and competing social calendars to find some common ground while living under one roof.

Life as We Know It is one of those movies you will want to see again just so you can relive the emotions.  I know we will be seeing it again when it comes out for sure!

Disclosure:  I was given tickets to preview Life as We Know It and given a stipend for my time.  All opinions expressed in my review are mine and not influenced by anyone or anything.
