Book Swim is Like Netflix for Readers

I just discovered Book Swim and am thrilled to share my experience with you!

Book Swim is like Netflix, but instead of choosing movies to place in your queue, you are choosing books.

I was given the opportunity to try Book Swim and really love the concept.  I set my daughter up on the computer, in her reading age range and had her choose a bunch of books that were of interest to her.  She is going into the first grade, so easy readers are her level.  She chose her books and then added them to her queue.  A few days later three books arrived.

Not only was she thrilled to get some new books to read, but getting a package in the mail that was for her made her squeal with excitement!

Inside the box were the three books along with a return label and package to send the books back once she is done reading them.  Then, once those have been returned, another set of books will arrive that are next in her queue.

I just love this idea especially in winter when getting out in the snow and cold is the most undesirable thought to cross my mind or going to the library to sift through books is time I just don’t have.  We are able to sit in the comfort of our home and make a “wish list” of books we’d like to read and then enjoy them when they arrive in our mailbox.
