Oakland County Parks hosts Mother’s Day Intergenerational Golf Outing

Grandmothers, mothers and daughters are welcome to play in a Mother’s Day Intergenerational three-person, nine-hole golf scramble on May 9 between 3-6:30 p.m at either the Glen Oaks Golf Course in Farmington Hills or the Springfield Oaks Golf Course in Davisburg.

The event, for those six years and older, is opened to teams of three with each person from a different generation. It’s a day for mom, her mom and her children to enjoy golf, goody bags, prizes and a barbecue. The cost is $75 per team; carts are an additional cost.

“This is a great Mother’s Day event and opportunity to spend time with friends and family from different generations,” Recreation Program Supervisor Laurie Stasiak said.

Pre-registration is required by May 5. Golfers will be notified of their assigned start time on May 6. Golfers should check-in approximately 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tee-time. To register, visit the Events Calendar online at DestinationOakland.com.
