I’m not much of a prankster, so I won’t be telling you that Detroit Mommies is closing down. Nor will I tell you that Ford gave me a car to give away to my readers because it would be too far fetched, even for Detroit Mommies.
I do want to say, “Thank you for being such a great bunch of people to write for!”
I was at the park yesterday with my daughters because it was a LOVELY day and I started chatting with a lady that was there with her children enjoying some warm sunshine and fresh air and as I always do, I mentioned that I have a website called Detroit Mommies.
I got the most pleasant surprise. Not only did she know what Detroit Mommies was, she visits almost every day, enters all of my contests and thanked me profusely for having a great website! She even went as far as saying she was going to a Mom 2 Mom sale this weekend because she found the info on Detroit Mommies!
It felt very good to hear this from a reader and it helped to know that all the hours and research that I put into making Detroit Mommies a place for moms to come and find fun family activities and information is truly helping and informing.
Because of this event, I had an idea. I’d love to put together a page on Detroit Mommies of what you like about Detroit Mommies or how Detroit Mommies has helped you. On the page, I’ll put your name and if you have a blog or website, I’ll link your comment to your site.
