The Palm Pre Plus: a breeze to use

The other day I was sans computer.  All day long I kept trying to log on to the internet and to my dismay, it showed the computer was logged on, but it would not connect to the internet.  Do you know how frustrating that can be for a mommy blogger that has blog posts to write, emails to answer, tweets to respond to and whrrls to whrrl about?

I was frustrated, but only to a point because I had the Palm Pre Plus and was able to do most everything on my list except write blog posts.  There was NO WAY I was going to write an entire blog post with tiny little keys, but if I had to, I could have!

I’ve been working with Verizon reviewing their phones and the latest mobile device that I was reviewing was the Palm Pre Plus.  It took less than a few hours to figure the phone out and that was without using the “getting started” guide.  I am the type that likes to figure things out”, so I went guide free and then later opened the guide to see what I missed.

You will need to learn “gestures” to move from screen to screen, but they come easy and are obvious once figured out.  The screen is crystal clear and the colors are vibrant.  I also tried the camera out and it took great pictures and they were easy to email.

Oh, and setting email accounts up was a breeze.  Again, no need to use the manual.  Everything was so obvious and simple to navigate.

The keys that bordered the keyboard felt a tiny bit cramped and if there was something that they could improve upon, that would be my only complaint.  Other than that, the phone is great, the screen is a very nice size and the look and feel is sleek and smooth.

It ended up that everything was ok with our internet.  We just needed to reset the network router.  Go figure!

Disclosure: I was given a Palm Pre Plus to review from Verizon. The opinions expressed in this post are mine and mine alone and are not influenced in any way by anyone.
