The Sound of Music Review and CD **Giveaway**

I can remember the words to some of the songs from the movie The Sound of Music even though I haven’t seen the movie since I was a child.  I sometimes sing my girls Do-Re-Mi. They love it!  It’s just one of those classic movies that stands the test of time.

The Sound of Music first opened on Broadway 50 years ago this month and quickly became one of the most popular and enduring musicals of all time.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary, Sony Music has released the 50th Anniversary Special Edition of the Original Cast Recording: The Sound Of Music along with Simon & Schuster’s beautiful The Sound of Music: A Classic Collectible Pop-Up.

I was given the opportunity to review the newly released album and pop-up book.

The book is amazing!  I’ve never seen a pop-up book that had such detail.  I actually placed it on a high shelf in hopes that my daughters don’t get there hands on it and ruin the delicate pages.

If you a lover of books for their beauty, this book is for you and would make a wonderful present this holiday season!
