gingerbread houseThe Gingerbread House…to eat or not to eat?  That is the question.

I found this gingerbread house on a website called Dylan’s Candy Bar and thought it was adorable and then I thought that I need to add making a gingerbread house to our list of family traditions because the kids are now old enough and they are just so darn cute!

But, the question still remains… Do people actually eat these things once they are finished making them or do they sit, get dusty and then go in the garbage can for trash pick-up day?

You tell me…

PS. They are SO much fun to decorate, especially when you do them together!

And, Wilton has a really nice kit you can get at Walmart…

I’ve only made one once, and let me tell you, the cookies in the kits are HARD and the icing gets hard too. I wouldn’t even think of eating one. haha

We kept ours till the season was over, then tossed it.
