Le Baby Hair Gel, a Dream Come True

One of the many things I do that keeps me busy, along with gaining and sharing knowledge, is product testing.  The most recent product I put to the SkinJunkie test was ”Le Baby“, a chemical AND fragrance free hair gel for babies. What’s that? Ahh yes, I don’t have a baby but I do have an eight year old that has sensitive skin, who also happens to have hair. I believe anyone can use this, “Dream Come True”, product and I’m eager to tell you why.

I used Le Baby for 3 weeks before I completed my review but it only took me a few uses to discover it’s many talents. Like every other female, my daughter, Mary, wants the hair she wasn’t born with! She has straight hair that does not want to hold a curl and with her sensitive skin, I’m always hesitant to use my styling products on her. Knowing I was going to attempt to curl her hair after it was dry, I applied Le Baby to her damp hair. Once her hair was thoroughly dry using the hair dryer, I styled her hair with the curling iron. We were both pleasingly surprised that many hours later, Miss Mary’s hair was still curly and she had no reaction to the product! This is when I wanted to see what Le Baby could do for my hair!

I have very curly, ehh hem, “frizzy” hair so I have no choice but to style and tame it every day. Occasionally, I like to wear it curly but not without the help of many, many products to keep it from Diana Rossing on me. I decided to try the same process with applying the gel to my damp hair but instead of blow drying it, I let it air dry. Can you say FAB YOU LOUS!?! I was beyond amazed when my hair did not frizz or look as though it had any product in it at all. There was no flaking after I ran my fingers through my hair about an hour after I had applied the gel. Did it really take a new product geared for babies, for me to finally kick frizz to the curb?

I’m confident and happy to recommend Le Babyto everyone, of all ages. It has a light, natural lemon scent and is clear. The only thing I didn’t like was that the tubes opening. I found it to be a bit too large for the actual thin consistency of the product, causing me to waste it the first few times until I made myself aware of the issue.

Final thoughts; I work in a Salon/Spa environment and would very much like to offer this product to my clients with or without babies and/or sensitive skin. Making Le Baby a big hit with this SkinJunkie!
