Moms and Dads all over the counrty are asking themselves the same question, “Is it safe to get my child(ren) vaccinated for the H1N1 Virus?” The importance of collecting facts is crucial and here at DetroitMommies, we want to provide you with as much information to aid you in your decision making process.

Here is a link to a non-profit organization called Alanas Flu Foundation. This web site will provide facts about the Flu, options for immunization and more. The Founders of this organization are also available for public speaking events and will make arrangements to set up vaccination clinics for your convenience.

Alanas Flu Foundation also has a “fan” page on facebook. Just click HERE to “become a fan” and be sure to invite your friends to do so. Remember, it is our responsibility to protect and provide for our children. Don’t allow lack of information to take another child’s life.

For locations and additional information check with the Oakland County Health Division.

  1. At least a hundred persons in our city have been infected with the H1N1 virus. I was very scared to get infected with this disease during the pandemic`*”
