I loves me some Farmers Markets.  I do.  But I’m lazy.  And quite frankly, forgetful.  I hardly get to the Pontiac Farmers Market anymore.  And never go to the Downtown Eastern Market.  It’s not that I don’t love both of them.  I really do.  Let’s just chalk it up to laziness and time.

As I was reading my little Farmington Press.  The local to my area newspaper.  I came across a little ad.  That spoke of fun.  That boasted live music.  I decided to investigate the website that was listed on this little blurb…www.DowntownFarmington.org.  And holy fresh fruit and veggies, batman.

A Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market.

Every Saturday from May 9 through November 21st!  And wait.  The hours are great.  You don’t have to get up at the sound of the roosters, if we even have those here in the burbs.  They open at 9 am. until 2pm.  Rain or shine.  But chances are, I’m only going there in the shine.  Not a huge rain fan here.

So, this Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market.  It offers way more than just fruits and veggies, my friends.  Oh you’d better believe it! They have live music, local crafters, and…bakery goods.

Because it’s in downtown Farmington, you can actually plan a day around this.  Shop the cute little stores, eat lunch at one of the fine dining establishments!

Maybe, just maybe, we’ll run into each other there.
