The Village of Rochester Hills’ new toy store, Brilliant Sky Toys & Books is partnering with local author Julianna Blankenship to sell her first children’s book, Sally Lumpkin’s Party. The story is about the fun and anticipation of six good friends attending a birthday party, and is based on the author’s college friends.
This Saturday, May 30th at 11:00amJulianna Blakenship will be reading her story at the store.
“The book is a great addition to the store”, said Terri Brisendine, co-owner of Brilliant Sky Toys and Books. “ I read it to my daughter, and she loved it, the illustrations are just amazing” she said.
I plan on taking my girls to pick up a copy of the book and hope to see you there!
