I don’t know about you, but when I am compelled to leave a comment for a blogger, lots of times I go back and look at what other people are saying. At the same time I’m perusing comments, I’m also looking at the person who’s commenting and if they leave a clever comment, I’ll go check out their blog or website. I have found and followed many blogs by doing this. It is a valuable tool as a blogger or business owner to leave a comment. You never know who might be reading!

Leaving a comment is like a gift to a blogger! Whether the comment is good or bad, critical or praising, just the fact that you are taking the time to comment is HUGE! It shows a blogger that their content is being read and touching you in some way. BTW thank you readers!

I check my comments a few times during the day and when I read them, I also check out the person behind the comment. More than once, after checking out their blog, I enter their contest, leave a comment or sign up for their blog. See, by leaving a comment, you gained a comment!
